BOSTON ILIR SUPPORTERS: Over 350 Boston Irish braved a dreary evening to come to the Irish Cultural Center of New England in Canton, MA for a meeting which featured Congressman Bruce Morrison, seen above with ILIR supporters in Boston. See blog for more coverage.

ILIR UPDATE: The ILR is pleased to announce that Bart Murphy is taking over the role of Chairman.

Mr Murphy, who is on the board of the American Ireland Fund and the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers is a well-known advocate for Irish immigration reform.

He replaces co-founder Niall O'Dowd who is now on the advisory board.

We are delighted to welcome Bart into a more official role with the ILIR as he has been a Board member since the ILIR's inception.
